Fort Worth, Texas, September 14, 2016 – CIG Logistics, an industry-leading oil and gas logistics provider, was awarded two contracts to run operations for a major midstream energy infrastructure company at two of its strategically located terminals in California and Louisiana.

Under the contracts, CIG Logistics will manage all operations, sustainment, inventory tracking and more at the two terminals, which focus on crude oil storage, transloading and transportation services.

“We are proud to serve as the operations partner for these two critical rail terminals and look forward to delivering our signature services to support these state-of-the-art facilities in California and Louisiana,” said Jonathan Green, Chief Executive Officer of CIG Logistics.

CIG Logistics Targets Operations Contracts

CIG Logistics, which owns several transloading and storage facilities throughout the country, is now expanding its business by offering operational expertise to third-party owned terminals. Following this recent contract win, the company is actively bidding on terminal operations contracts in the energy, construction, railroad and food industries across the United States.

“We have developed advanced automation, operational efficiency, supply chain management and safety measures at our own facilities that are setting the pace for our industry,” said Green. “As the need for more efficient, reliable and affordable supply chain operations increases, we look forward to partnering with terminal owners to provide our expertise and improve their operations, customer service and competitive posture.”

With the addition of these two operations contracts, CIG Logistics now owns or operates 13 transloading and storage facilities throughout Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana and California.
