Transloading is more than just the process of transferring products from one mode of transportation to another. At CIG Logistics we believe that transloading and logistics encompasses the efficient tracking, movement, storage, inventory management, and business intelligence associated with getting our customer's products from point A to point B.
We provide all aspects of transloading at whatever level it takes to meet customer needs. Our services can range from designing, building, and operating a customers’ terminal to simply acting as a third party transloader.
We continually add infrastructure to diversify the products that can be handled at each terminal along with infrastructure to maximize efficiency.
Most companies still consider a series of Excel spreadsheets to be a satisfactory inventory management solution. CIG Logistics has developed a bespoke inventory management and business intelligence system that allows our customers to have real-time access to data on their assets from the point of origin all the way to the well-head, warehouse, or international border. CIG’s inventory management system is cloud-based and gives customers up to the minute information on asset location, bill of ladings, trucking schedules, average truck load times, etc. Customers also have access to their own desktop and mobile dashboards so they can view this from any location.
CIG Logistics has extensive experience in building and operating frac sand transloading and storage facilities. We have project managers on staff and work closely with companies such as Christensen Building Group, Aggregate Systems, Tank Connections, and Mission Control to develop and construct storage solutions that are both highly efficient and cost effective.
We understand that storage needs can vary greatly by location and product type with one size not fitting all. CIG has storage solutions that can be customized to meet most customers’ needs. Current storage solutions consist of drive through sand silos, blow off containers, flat storage, warehousing, covered outdoor storage, and lay down yards.
We know what it takes to unload unit and manifest trains and has the storage knowledge and infrastructure to handle both.
CIG believes that consistent and premier service is key to developing productive long-term relationships with our customers. Each of our customers has direct access to a customer support representative who proactively manages issues 24/7.
The key to long-term success for CIG Logistics is the ability to provide customers with Industry-Best customer service. CIG responds to customer needs with a sense of urgency and takes pride in being a problem solver.
Feedback from our customers is consistently favorable and we look forward to the opportunity to add satisfied customers to each of our strategically located terminals.
We take the safety of employees, customers, and truck drivers to heart. CIG has standardized safety policies and procedures across all terminals.
CIG spends countless hours properly training employees to work safely around heavy equipment, railroad, and truck traffic. All employees have the authority to stop and question any process that seems unsafe or could lead to an accident. Employees receive initial training upon hire and then attend monthly and quarterly safety training on a wide range of pertinent topics.
Employees are also given personalized training from our staff fitness expert on efficient, effective movements that strengthen the body and greatly decease injuries on and off the job.
At CIG the main goal is for every employee, customer, and truck driver to go home safely at the end of the day.
