Ardmore, Okla., November 2, 2016 – CIG Logistics, an oil and gas logistics provider, has partnered with Ameripointe Logistics Hub to operate and jointly market the development of frac sand transloading and storage services at the newly constructed logistics terminal in Ardmore, Okla.

The Ardmore development is strategically located between the South Central Oklahoma Oil Province (SCOOP) and the Sooner Trend Anadarko Basin Canadian and Kingfisher (STACK) shale plays to significantly minimize trucking distances and provide quick access to common trucking routes. End users will benefit from the Ameripointe Logistics Hub’s accommodation for more than 200 fully loaded rail cars, more than 1,500 acres of industrial development land and direct access to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railway and I-35 corridor.

“As the energy, construction and retail markets in the region advance, companies are in need of more efficient and affordable transportation, transloading and storage solutions for critical supplies,” said Michael Collins, CIG Logistics Vice President of Business Development. “The Ameripointe Logistics Hub will employ dozens of skilled workers, including railroad engineers, conductors and bulk terminal operators. With CIG Logistics on board, they will provide efficiency, advanced technology and safety to the Ameripointe customers.”
